Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has admitted that Arsenal will not win this year’s Premier League title because they failed to maintain their early season form.
The Citizens can claim their successive title this Sunday when they host Chelsea at the Etihad.
However, as of March, the Gunners were still eight points clear at the top and looked favourites to dethrone Guardiola’s men.
“To recover eight points from Arsenal, we had one game in hand. First of all, that was a little bit fake. But we knew we had to win all games.
“If Arsenal had maintained their early season form, we wouldn’t have been able to do it.
“But they dropped a few points and we were there,” Guardiola said.
