Kelechi Iheanacho is expected to feature in Leicester City’s Premier League clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday.

His international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi is, however doubtful for the game.

Iheanacho featured for only 45 minutes in the Fox’s 0-0 draw against Newcastle United on Monday.

The 26-year-old missed Leicester City’s previous three games as a result of a groin problem.

Ndidi, who was also named in the start against the Magpies was replaced by Senegal international, Namplays Mendy in the second half as a result of a hamstring injury.

Leicester City manager, Dean Smith provided an update on the duo ahead of the trip to the London Stadium.

“Kelechi is fine. Jonny Evans is fine. Ricardo Pereira, we scanned him and he’s fine. Wilf is the only question mark at the moment. He hasn’t trained yet since the injury,” Smith told a press conference.

Leicester City needs to win the game and for other results to go their way to stay up.
