Remo Stars Team B goalkeeper Daniel Aiyenugba has revealed that it took his dad time to believe in his ability.
Daniel, 14, son of the former Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba, helped Remo Stars feeders team, popularly called Beyond Limit, to secure promotion to the Nigeria National League from the Nationwide League.
He said that his dad had to be persuaded to watch his footage before he accepted to allow him to go into football.
“It took my dad time before he could believe I have the ability to become a good goalkeeper,” he stated.
“My dad had to be persuaded when he was in Isreal to watch my footage.
Beyond Limit, Osun United, Tradesafe, Coal City, Dynamite Force, Rahbam FC, Jedo FC, and Maikunkele FC have all secured promotion to the NNL.
