Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has thrown shade at his colleagues who splurge on expensive cars while their families are still struggling to live a comfortable life.
The Zazu Zeh star, known for his outspoken nature and bluntness in expressing his opinions, accused these colleagues of neglecting their families.
He questioned why they would prioritize buying expensive cars to impress others over their families’ well-being.
Speaking in Yoruba, he said,
“You buy cars dey oppress; have you taken care of your home? You get a car, but your family has to suffer. You’re enjoying foreign life as a local. These kids are locals without a level. They don’t know the law; they’ve forgotten home. He used his last card to buy a car, and when he couldn’t afford to fuel the car, he’d trek.”
Although Portable didn’t mention any names, fans speculate that his shade was directed towards his colleague, Zinoleesky, who recently acquired a brand-new Ferrari sports car.
In the comment section of Portable’s post, an Instagram follower wrote, “Is it ZINO?😂”
“Zino’s parents are suffering in Ogun State,” added another user.
