Juventus on Saturday confirmed the signing of Timothy Weah from Lille on a permanent transfer.
The Serie A giants disclosed this in a statement via its website.
“Timothy Weah has officially become a Juventus player. The American arrives on a permanent deal from Lille,” Juventus’ statement read in part.
Meanwhile, in a related development, Arsenal have now entered the race to sign Liverpool target Romeo Lavia from Southampton, as reported by Football Transfers.
Arsenal could see their midfielder Thomas Partey leave the Emirates in the upcoming window, and they want to replace him with 19-year-old Lavia.
The Gunners have already signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea and are close to sealing moves for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.
