Transfer: I don’t like it – Agbonlahor unhappy over Harry Kane’s attitude

Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has said that Harry Kane is being ‘very quiet’ about his future.

According to Agbonlahor, the striker should tell the fans and Spurs’ new manager, Ange Postocoglou, what is going on.

Bayern Munich are keen on signing the England international this summer, but the Premier League side are reluctant to let him go.

Tottenham are said to have rejected offers made by the Bundesliga side and have offered the England international an eye watering deal to keep him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

There are claims that the player wants to move to Germany to compete for major trophies.

And Gabby says it’s not good for the new boss, the fans, or Kane’s teammates.

“Harry Kane is staying very quiet, which I don’t like,” said the former Aston Villa captain.

“What Postecoglou needs as the new manager of Spurs is communication from Daniel Levy and Harry Kane.

“Can’t there be a cut off point, say July 20, that if Kane is not sold by then, he’s staying?

“He needs to know if he’s going to have Harry Kane or not, and that he’s not going to be stuck with Richarlison, who scored one goal in 27 games, because that’s a crisis for Spurs.

“As a manager, you want them to be assured by your owner, because this can’t continue, it’s not fair on the Spurs fans and his teammates.”
