The father, mother, wife, son, and some family members of Nigerian singer Mohbad arrived at the coroner’s inquest on Wednesday to stand as witnesses.

The coroner’s inquest is a legal proceeding that is held to determine the cause of death of a person who has died unexpectedly or under suspicious circumstances.

Mohbad died in September 2023, and his family is seeking to determine the cause of his death.

The family members who arrived at the coroner’s inquest are expected to provide evidence about Mohbad’s life and death. They may also be asked to answer questions from the coroner and the lawyers representing the family.

The coroner’s inquest is expected to last several days, and the family members are expected to be present for the entire proceeding.
