Seun Kuti has announced a new collaboration with Damian Marley. The record, which will be released on June 26, 2024, is titled “Dey”. In an Instagram post, Kuti revealed that he has a music project coming out. “Dey” is one of the records on the project. This is the first time in years that the Kuti’s and Marley’s would be collaborating on a song. The most recent one was in 2013 when Fela’s M.O.P was paired with Bob Marley’s Exodus. This was executed by Julian and Ky-Mani Marley.
A few weeks ago, Kuti also announced a new project that would be executively produced by American artiste, Lenny Kravitz. The album is scheduled for global release on October 4th through Record Kicks and it will be distributed by Secretly Distribution.
