Robby Law, a UK-based Nigerian Afropop artiste, has accused Davido of fraud. Law claims he paid Davido £15,000 for a collaboration; however, Davido refused to release the song. In a viral video, Law stated that he was eager to work with Davido and willingly paid the money, but after four years, the song has not been released. He also claimed that after reaching out to Davido’s management to ask about the song, he was told the record was too old. Hence, he was asked to pay for another song.
Law expressed his disappointment in Davido and admonished the artist to release the record. He also urged other prominent artists to stop defrauding upcoming artists. This accusation comes after another Nigerian artiste, Portable, accused Davido of not giving him money and using him for clout.
