Controversial British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has claimed that Arsenal would have won three Premier League titles if the Gunners had taken his advice to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in the past.
Morgan made this statement in a post via his X account on Saturday night.
He was reacting to Ronaldo’s stunning second goal against Al-Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League tie on Saturday.
Ronaldo’s brace gave Al-Nassr a 2-1 victory against Al-Riyadh at Al-Awwal Park.
“I wish Arsenal had taken my advice to sign @Cristiano when he left United and was keen to come to us,” Morgan wrote on X.
“We’d have probably won 3 League titles if he’d been leading our line, he’s still one of the best finishers in the world.”
Al-Nassr’s next game is against Al-Qadisiyah next Friday.
