Prince Harry has said he does not know how long King Charles has left to live.
The Duke of Sussex made the remark in a bombshell interview on Friday, following the dismissal of his appeal in court over his security arrangements.
Harry also revealed that he is not on speaking terms with his father due to the ongoing legal battle.
Speaking with the BBC in California, he said there had been “so many disagreements, differences between me and some of my family.”
He admitted he could not envisage a future in which his family would return to the UK.
“He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff,” Prince Harry said, adding that he did not know how long the King had left to live.
This comes just days after the King described the “daunting” and “frightening” experience of being diagnosed with cancer. It was his first public update since the diagnosis, which was confirmed 15 months ago.
The 76-year-old monarch is still undergoing regular treatment and is described as “living with cancer.”
