Bandits have launched a fresh attack on Dungun Mu’azu community in Sabuwa Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing one person, injuring another, and abducting several residents.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday night, was made public in a post by Katsina-based security analyst Bakatsine on his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday.
According to the post, the attackers stormed the quiet rural community in the dead of night.
“Last night, bandits attacked Dungun Mu’azu community in Sabuwa LGA, Katsina State. They killed one person, injured another person and abducted several people during the attack,” Bakatsine wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, the Katsina State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
