Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has confirmed the goalkeeper to start in his side’s UEFA Europa Conference League final against Real Betis.
Chelsea and Betis will clash in the Conference final at the Stadion Miejski Stadium in Poland next week Wednesday.
However, Maresca insisted that Filip Jorgensen would be in goal-post for his team ahead of Robert Sanchez against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
“Filip [Jorgensen] is going to play in the final [ of the Europa Conference League],” Maresca told reporters.
“He’s played all competition and it would be unfair to take him out [from the final] now.
“It will be him plus ten Chelsea players, I am not sure who else will play,” he stated.
The time for the Chelsea vs Betis final is 8 p.m., Nigerian time.
Maresca’s side, meanwhile, are currently sitting in the 5th place on the Premier League table.
The Blues have 66 points from 37 games and will face Nottingham Forest on the final day of the Premier League 2024/25 season.
