Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane and Liverpool man, Mohamed Salah, have reacted to Tottenham’s Europa League win.

Harry Kane left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich a few season ago and won the Bundesliga this season with the German giants.

His former team has now won the second tier European championship.

Tottenham have waited for seventeen years to win a major trophy and happened to beat Premier league rivals, Manchester United 1-0 to win the UEFA Europa League at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao.

Brenman Johnson’s 42nd-minute goal was all the north London side needed to win a European title for the first time since 1984.

Manchester United and Tottenham went into the final sitting 16th and 17th in the Premier League table, respectively, having had a disappointing season so far.

But Tottenham’s season appears better now as they have won their third Europa League trophy and booked their spot in next season’s Champions League.

Kane congratulated his former club, writing on X:

“Congratulations @SpursOfficial .”

Also, Liverpool winger, Salah hailed the north London side’s head coach, Ange Postecoglou.

He wrote: “He did say he’d win in his second season. Congratulations!”
