France Football, the organizers of the Ballon d’Or award, has unveiled a revamped voting system for the prestigious award with 22 African countries making the cut.

Only countries ranked in the top 100 of the FIFA World Rankings will be eligible to vote.

Under the revised system, 22 African countries have secured eligibility to vote in the upcoming Ballon d’Or selection, reinforcing the continent’s rising status in world football.

These nations, currently within FIFA’s top 100, demonstrate Africa’s growing football prowess and global relevance.
