Departing Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that Luka Modric plays with his soul.
Ancelotti said this at his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Real Madrid’s LaLiga final day clash with Real Sociedad on Saturday.
The Italian was paying his respect to Modric who will leave the club this summer.
He described the Croatia international as a legend, who has quality.
“Luka Modrić is unreal, what more can I say about him,” Ancelotti said.
“He’s quality, you can see he plays with his soul. He’s a legend and that kind of soul, belief and quality together is not normal.”
Modric moved to Madrid in 2012 from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
The 39-year-old is truly a legend at Madrid as he won six Champions League trophies, the 2018 Ballon d’Or and several other trophies during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
