The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Friday said the work of the government reflects on the faces of the people.

According to the ex-River State governor, when the people are happy, the government will be happy.

Wike made the assertion during the commissioning of the Kabusa-Ketti road to mark President Bola Tinubu’s second year anniversary.

He said it’s the duty of the government to make the people happy.

The minister also commended the traditional leaders and youths of Ketti for their support during the road project.

He said: “This road is why you can see the community has come out in their numbers to celebrate. When the people are happy, government will be happy.

“When the government does its own work, you will see the reflection on the faces of the people and I’m sure this is the first time that the people of Ketti are getting this government’s attention.

“So, I commend them, I commend the youths for the support they gave to the contractors.

“There are some communities that when you award jobs to be done, instead of them to support the company, they cause problems.

“But in this case they supported the company to finish the job, so I commend the traditional rulers and the youths of this community for the support they gave to us and today we are here.”
