Kwara United have been rewarded with a cash prize of N50 million for winning the 2025 President Federation Cup, DAILY POST reports.

The Harmony Boys will also play in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Kwara United defeated Abakaliki FC 4-3 on penalties in the final at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Saturday.

The keenly contested encounter ended goalless in the regular time.

Runners-up Abakaliki FC went home with N20 million for their effort.

Kwara United’s Victor Okoye and Suraju Ayeleso won the player and goalkeeper of the tournament, respectively, while Mercelle Akinocho won the top scorer award.

In the Women’s category Rivers Angels got N25 million for beating Nasarawa Amazons in the final of the competition.

Nasarawa Amazons got N10 million for finishing in second position.
