Esther Okoronkwo was named Woman of the Match following the Super Falcons’ dominant victory over Tunisia on Sunday night.

Justine Madugu’s side began their campaign with an emphatic 3-0 win at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

Asisat Oshoala, Omorinsola Babajide, and substitute Chiwendu Ihezuo were on target for the Super Falcons.

Okoronkwo replaced Babajide after the break and impressed with her silky touches and skillful play.

The 28-year-old striker came close to scoring, striking the woodwork in the 68th minute.

Okoronkwo has now scored six goals in 15 appearances for the Super Falcons.
