The Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has distanced itself from the coalition being spearheaded by the African Democratic Congress (ADC), reaffirming its unity and preparedness ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a press release signed by the State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Ezekiel A. Adaji, the party urged its members to stay clear of the ADC coalition and any meetings associated with it, warning that defiance of the directive would attract disciplinary consequences.

“The state chapter of the PDP clearly distances herself from the ADC-adopted coalition and implores members to refrain from attending their meetings or joining the coalition.

“Any disregard for this directive will attract distinct disciplinary measures,” the statement read.

Adaji stressed that the PDP remains a strong, united, and accommodating platform committed to providing credible leadership and governance alternatives for the people of Benue State and Nigeria at large.

He also revealed that the party would soon convene a state expanded executive council (EXCO) meeting to assess progress, address challenges, and chart a strategic course for the future.
