Warri Wolves head coach, Napoleon Aluma, has attributed his team’s victory over Kun Khalifat FC to confidence and unity.
The Seasiders thrashed Kun Khalifat FC 3-0 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Monday.
Aluma said that the scoreline was a response to their opening day defeat to Osun United.
“Self-belief was the motivating factor,” Aluma reacted after the game.
“We went unbeaten in the regular season, and after that first loss, we had to look inward, correct our mistakes, and reignite the spirit. This performance shows our response.”
Warri Wolves have recorded three points from two matches and will face Crown FC next on Thursday.
