Heartland have announced Monday, July 21, as the resumption date for the 2025–26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.
All players are expected to report to the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, by 7 pm on the stated date in preparation for the new season.
Heartland made the announcement in a press release signed by the team manager, Maduabuchi Osuorji, on Tuesday.
The statement read, “On the directives of our technical manager, Emmanuel Amuneke this is to formally inform all players and technical staff of the club that resumption of duties is scheduled as follows, Monday, 21st July, 2025 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri at 7pm.
“All team members are expected to report promptly and in full readiness as we begin preparation for the new phase, punctuality, discipline and professionalism will be strictly observed.”
DAILY POST reports that Heartland were relegated to the NNL last season.
