Akwa United midfielder Cyril Olisema has revealed an incident where a teammate almost killed him in Lagos.
The Promise Keepers top scorer said the incident happened during an argument about Warri being a better place than Lagos.
Olisema, however, admitted that he later succumbed to the fact that Lagos was a better place than his place of birth.
“It happened when I was in Ikorodu, there was a very nice guy named Kabiru Balogun, my teammate then.
“I told him Warri is better than Lagos, and he agreed to show me some places where he took me to drink “agbo jedi” herbs.
“As a Warri boy, I don’t drink or know what agbo jedi was, which I took with milk. After that, I slept so deeply that I won’t even know when it was time for training.
“From that day, I accepted that Lagos was better and I told my friend I don’t want to walk with you again because of the outcome of the agbo jedi,” a lively Olisema told Elegbete TV.
