Sunshine Stars forward, David Onovo has revealed that matchday 17 against Niger Tornadoes was the team’s biggest win of the season.
The Owena Waves recorded their first away win of the season edging out Niger Tornadoes 2-0 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.
The victory enhanced the Akure club’s chances of making it to the Super Six playoff.
“It was probably our biggest win of the season,” he told DAILY POST.
“We worked really hard against a very strong side. It was complicated at the start, but we put in a good performance.
“We just need to continue to push hard for our final match against Dakkada tomorrow.”
