A Nigerian lady who is said to be of Igbo decent and practices the Islamic religion recently took to social media to educate Nigerians that there are Igbo Muslims around who are quite proud of their faith.

In a video she shared on video-sharing platform, TikTok, the young lady shared that she was born into the Muslim religion and both her parents who are Igbos are also Muslims by birth.

Following the video she shared, a couple of netizens have expressed their surprise as many were oblivious to the fact that there are people who hail from the SouthEast region of the country and practice Islam.

In other news, a newly married couple recently caused quite a buzz on social media after they dished out a piece of advice to online users.

The Ireland-based Nigerian couple, who tied the nuptial knot a few weeks ago, expressed their strong endorsement for marriage on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, recently.

@iyoboosa, who disclosed that she and her husband are both 23 years old, said they have been enjoying the journey of navigating life together.

“We got married a couple of weeks back & we’re both 23. It’s been the best experience figuring life out together. I highly recommended,” she tweeted.

This singular and short tweet has sparked conflicting views on the platform, with some netizens congratulating the couple and wishing them a blissful marriage, and others claiming they haven’t been married long enough to offer marital advise.
