Ace Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy, has reacted to Nigerian superstar singer, Davido’s revelation that he is his mentor.
During an exclusive interview with YouTuber Tayo Aina, Davido shared how, when he began his career as a young boy, Don Jazzy was his mentor.
Describing their first encounter, Davido noted that it was an extraordinary experience, comparing it to encountering Jesus.
According to him, it took courage to stand in his presence during their initial meeting.
“Don Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing.” Davido said.
Don Jazzy, in response to the interview, expressed his admiration for Davido’s accomplishments. He commended Davido’s unwavering work ethic, which continues to inspire him despite the singer’s immense success and wealth.
Taking to his Instagram page, Don Jazzy shared an excerpt from the interview and expressed his pride in Davido’s achievements.
“And that’s how life is, @davido. Now I look at all you have achieved, and I am super proud of you. Even with all that success and wealth, I look at your work ethic, and I am highly motivated. I’m glad that as a mentor, I haven’t let you down too. We thank GOD. More blessings, bro.” He wrote.
