“How I almost became a pastor” – Actress, Tonto Dikeh

Popular Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has disclosed that she almost became a pastor while growing up.

According to the talented thespian, she grew up in the church and held positions as a cell leader and worker.

Tonto Dikeh, who disclosed this in a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, shared how the values she imbibed while growing up continue to influence her.

She noted that despite the level of her exposure and nature of her job, she still prioritizes decency and feels uneasy in revealing clothes.

Her words,

“I grew up in church… I was a cell leader. I was a department assistant. I almost became a pastor. I still have a 70% village mentality. I’m so uncomfortable with revealing clothing”.

In other news, Tonto Dikeh has shared some of the key things she has learnt in her thirty-eight years of existence.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of one advised against divulging every detail about one’s life to family and friends, as she claims it would backfire.

She also said seeking closure after a failed relationship is a scam and it is better to move forward and focus on rebuilding one’s life.

Speaking further, the 38-year-old thespian emphasized the importance of having multiple streams of income. She also encouraged people to explore opportunities that generate daily income, describing it as a modern form of self-love and self-care.
