Lobi Stars forward, Joseph Atule, will miss his team’s final Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs tie against Sunshine Stars on Sunday (today).
Atule left the team’s camp on Thursday to attend his father’s burial slated for Monday.
It would be recalled that the energetic striker lost his father on Saturday, June 3, the opening day of the Super Six playoffs.
Despite his father’s demise, he has featured in all of Lobi Stars four games in the competition.
The Makurdi based outfits are out of contention for the title and continental ticket after failing to record a win in the Super Six playoffs.
Mohammed Babaganaru’s side have recorded two draws and two defeats.
