Fast rising South African house singer, Daliwonga unleash an infectious Amapiano tune title, Abo Mvelo, This new song featuring Mellow & Sleazy and M.J is a perfect combination of house music and the buzzing Amapiano sound.
Abo Mvelo, is a song that initially sparked interest during Mellow and Sleazy’s edition of the Major League DJz’ Balcony Mix, and thereafter took on a life of its own on social media. The song is characterized by heavy percussive basslines from producer/DJ duo – Mellow and Sleazy and angelic falsetto vocals from Daliwonga.
Mellow and Sleazy is an Amapiano duo from Pretoria, South Africa. It also features MJ (Halala, Khuza Gogo), who laced a scintillating verse of his own. Initially dubbed Lobola and Magasman by fans, the title Abo Mvelo was eventually settled on after ShaunTheStylist mistakenly dubbed it as such during an Instagram live video with Daliwonga. The song prominently features the refrain Ye Magasman Yatjoroza from the mythic Lebo Mathosa’s song Magasman with legendary Kwaito group – Trompies.
