The Oyo State Police Command has called in the parents of the little girl used in a viral skit by Ibadan-based skit maker, Abdullahi Maruf, better known as Trinity Guy.
Recall that the state police command invited the content creator for allegedly sexualizing a minor in a viral skit video.
In the video, Trinity Guy had the female minor act as if she had mistakenly seen his manhood, probably while he was urinating, and asked her to describe what she saw. See here.
According to the police, preliminary investigations showed that the offensive video clearly violated Sections 32, 35, and 36 of the Child Rights Act of 2023 by depicting explicit sexual exploitation of the minor who was forced to provide disturbing descriptive details of male genitalia.
The skit maker reportedly admitted after questioning that he had asked the minor’s parents for their permission to appear in the skit and that they had been involved before, during, and after its creation.
“Consequently, Isiaka Ahmed, 40 years and his Wife, Rofiat, 29 years, both biological parents of the minor are presently being quizzed by the Gender/Juvenile Related Offences Desk of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) alongside Trinity.”
