2023 UTME: Anambra indegene, Nkechinyere Umeh top scorer – JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examinations, JAMB, has unveiled the top candidates in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME.

The Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede made the unveiling at the 2023 policy meeting currently ongoing in Abuja.

According to the presentation made by the Registrar, Umeh Nkechinyere came top in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations with a cumulative mark of 360.

Umeh is from Anambra State.

According to Oloyede, the other top candidates are Aguele Stephen, 358; Ositade Oluwafemi, 358; Gbolahan Ayinde, 357; John Fulfilment, 356; Chimdubem Ugonna, 355, among others.

DAILY POST reports that today’s meeting is expected to provide policy directions for the nation’s tertiary institutions.

These include admission guidelines, present and analyse application statistics, and candidates’ performance, as well as evaluate the 2023 Admission exercise.

In addition, policy decision on the acceptable minimum admissible score to be applied in all admissions to be undertaken by all tertiary institutions in Nigeria would be made during the meeting.
