Nigerian disc jokey, DJ Big N professionally known as Nonso Temisan Ajufo narrates his shocking encounter in South Africa after surviving a robbery attack.

The disc jockey described the terrifying experience of the January 12 incident, including pictures of himself in the hospital with the bullet wound.

After disclosing the possession that was stolen, he acknowledged God for giving him another chance and attributed his survival to his mother’s prayers.

Narrating his near-death encounter, he wrote,

“In the chaos, I tried to escape but got shot in the leg. One of the robbers put the rifle to my head and demanded my watch, which I struggled to remove, along with my chain and other jewelry. Bleeding heavily, I managed to get back to the car, and the driver rushed me to the nearest hospital. The bullet had passed through my leg, narrowly missing a major artery and bone. Doctors described this as miraculous, calling me “lucky.” I credit my survival to divine intervention and my mother’s prayers”.

Colleagues of the entertainer have extended their sympathy, wishing for his quick recovery. Netizens have stormed the comment section to share their similar ordeal in the said country as they compared it to other countries.

Below are some reactions,

@finelady_a As someone that lives there, Southafrica is just not a safe place to be honest. You just gotta be careful.

@prguy_ZA South Africa is more dangerous than Nigeria but Their media don’t push the negativity like instablog and Linda ikeji.
