Manchester United winger, Antony has insisted that the club is going through a difficult time under their manager Ruben Amorim.
The Brazilian international said this while wishing Amorim the best of luck this season.
He also labelled the Portuguese as a very good intelligent coach, adding that he has a good relationship with him.
“I have only had a short time working with Amorim, but he’s a very good, intelligent coach,” Antony told ESPN.
“United are going through a difficult time, but he’s a good coach. I had a good relationship with him but I needed new challenge. I wish him best luck in the world.”
Antony joined Manchester United from Ajax for £85million in 2022.
But he failed to impress at the Red Devils and as a result he wasn’t used regularly by Amorim before he was sent on loan to Betis.
Real Betis captain, Isco, recently said said that the Betis need to do a ‘crowdfunding’ to sign Antony permanently from Manchester United.
Antony has been hugely impressive for the Betis so far this season, scoring four goals and registering four assists in 12 appearances.
