Bandits on Monday evening blocked the Kankara–Dutsin-Ma highway in Katsina State, intercepting a vehicle and abducting all its passengers.
According to a post by security analyst Bakatsine on his X handle Monday night, the attack occurred around 5 PM.
This incident comes less than five hours after another group of bandits ambushed farmers in Doma village, also in Katsina State, abducting several individuals.
“Around 5PM, this evening, bandits blocked the Kankara–Dutsin-Ma road in Katsina State, intercepted a vehicle and abducted all its passengers.
“This is coming less than 5hrs after bandits ambushed farmers in Doma village in the same State,” Bakatsine wrote.
The Katsina State Police Command has yet to issue an official statement regarding the attacks as of the time of filing this report.
