The Nigeria National League, NNL, has directed that all the Matchday 17 fixtures in Groups C and D should kick off at the same time.

The penultimate games of the 2024-25 season will start at 3 p.m. across the northern centers on Saturday and Sunday.

NNL Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana, said that the move is designed to prevent manipulation of match outcomes and ensure fairness as the regular season concludes.

“Because we are in the last stage, we want equal opportunity for clubs to progress in transparency and trust in the League,” Alanana stated in his letter to the clubs.

In the final fixtures in Group C, Jigawa Golden Stars will do battle with Sokoto United, Wikki Tourists will face off with Zamfara United, while Mighty Jets will lock horns with Barau FC.

In Group D, Sporting Supreme will take on Kebbi United, Yobe Desert Stars will face Basira FC, and Kada Warriors will entertain Adamawa United.

Two teams will qualify from each group for the NNL Super Eight playoff tournament.
