The National Kwankwasiyya Coalition of Concerned Citizens for Sustainable Development has cautioned Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf against alleged “cabinet cabals” undermining his efforts.

In a statement signed by National Chairman, Comrade Dayyib Hassan Ahmad, the coalition expressed concern that some cabinet members’ actions contradict the governor’s goals.

The coalition noted that while loyalists who contributed to the NNPP’s success in Kano are being neglected, some cabinet members who did little to support the governor’s administration are prioritizing personal financial gain over liberating the people.

He explained, “This coalition which was established since 2019 found it worthy to draw the attention of the governor to be wary of some members of his kitchen cabinet.”

The coalition urged Governor Yusuf to distance himself from ineffective cabinet members and prioritize those who genuinely worked towards the administration’s success.

They reaffirmed their commitment to the NNPP and the Kwankwasiyya Movement, established since 2019, while emphasizing the need for reform.
