A Nigerian man goes the extra mile to remind his wife that he paid her dowry in full as he plays a video from their wedding.
The man said in the background while their traditional wedding video aired on their TV that he purposefully had it playing so his wife would know that he had fully paid her dowry.
In response, his wife, who was also watching their wedding video, asked sarcastically whether he intended to cover half of her dowry.
While his wife exclaimed that her husband and his groomsmen were completely prepared to receive her as his wife, the man, overcome with excitement, sang along with the Master of Ceremonies.
He complimented his mother-in-law and father-in-law on their beautiful appearance at their wedding ceremony.
He described how he and his groomsmen paid an additional price after one of them said an incorrect name when asked to call the bride’s name, while he was watching a video of himself and his friends dancing and prostrating to beg for the bride by tradition.
