Former Real Madrid ace, Luis Figo has named three favourite players to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Football fans will know the winner of 2025 Ballon d’Or in September.

There are several players who could win the prestigious top-individual prize this year.

However, Figo believes the likes of Osumane Dembele, Lamine Yamal and Vitinha are the top favourites players that can win the Ballon d’Or.

All the three players were impressive for their respective clubs last season.

“There are several players who deserve the trophy based on their season,” Figo said (via Sport Bible) when speaking about the players that should win the Ballon d’Or.

“My opinion is irrelevant; the person voting is the one who decides. But I like players like Lamine; Vitinha, who has won everything this season.

“Dembele, who has done very well too… It depends on whether you are looking at individual performance for the Ballon d’Or or the titles you have won.”
