Bayern Munich attacking midfielder, Jamal Musiala has named Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger as the toughest player he has faced in his career so far.
Musiala and Rudiger are both international teammates with the Germany national team.
Both players played against each other in the UEFA Champions League when Real Madrid and Bayern Munich clashed.
When asked to name his toughest opponent, Musiala, who is currently recovery from an ankle injury he sustained against Paris Saint-Germain during the Club World Cup, said (via The Athletic): “Antonio Rüdiger.
“We played against Real Madrid in the Champions League, and that was quite tough.
“I have known him for quite a few years. And, yeah, it’s not nice playing against him.”
Rudiger has been impressive since joining Real Madrid from Chelsea in the past.
But the centre-back couldn’t help Xabi Alonso’s side as PSG knocked them out from the Club World Cup recently.
