Chelsea legend, John Terry has reacted to the departure of Cesar Azpilicueta from Stamford Bridge.
Azpilicueta has left Chelsea after 11 memorable years at the club and will now wear the colours of Atletico Madrid from next season after signing a two-year deal with La Liga giants.
Azpilicueta took to Instagram to drop an emotional message for Chelsea fans after his departure was confirmed.
And Terry, a legend himself, who led the Blues to several major titles, paid tribute to the 32-year-old.
“What a man, What a player. Thank you (Azpilicueta) & Good luck mate. LEGEND,” the former England captain tweeted.
Azpilicueta made 508 appearances, chipping in with 73 goal contributions and won the Champions League, Premier League twice, Europa League twice, FA Cup and League Cup.
