A Federal High Court sitting in Kano, presided over by Justice M N Yunusa has nullified the candidature of the Abia State Governor-elect, Dr Alex Otti and all the candidates of the Labour Party in Abia and Kano States. The National Working Committee, NWC, of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday, cautioned its state chapters against imposing indiscriminate suspension and expulsion on members of the party. DAILY POST reports that state chapters of the ruling party had recently suspended its members for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities during the 2023 general elections. The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has cautioned that no appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari with any corruption allegation should be allowed to leave Nigeria. The CNG also declared that the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele should not be allowed to leave the country until all allegations made against him were cleared.
