The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, has reacted to the Federal High Court judgement that struck out a suit filed by MultiChoice Nigeria Limited seeking to restrain the Commission from investigating its recent price hikes. The Defence Headquarters says troops of Operation Delta Safe discovered and deactivated 95 illegal refining sites and foiled oil theft worth N1.9 billion in the month of April. An Appeal Court sitting in Enugu has upheld the conviction and seven years prison sentence of one Onyekachi Nwosu, a former employee of Guaranty Trust Bank, over a N50 million loan fraud. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has slapped a sanction on Kenya Airways after violations of consumer protection regulations involving three passengers.
