Tragedy struck Friday afternoon on the failed Calabar-Itu federal highway as 17 persons were crushed to death in a fatal crash involving a containerized trailer and a commercial bus. The Black Sea Storm paid €5.6m to secure his signature from Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton. Onuachu initially spent the 2023/24 season at Trabzonspor. The former Turkish Super Lig champions pushed hard to sign him on a permanent transfer last summer but failed to meet Southampton’s valuation.
